At Caracolvan <\/strong>we have always taken the cleaning<\/strong> of our rental camper vans<\/strong> and all their equipment very seriously. When a Camper <\/strong>returns from a rental<\/strong>, our team starts its work following and extending the cleaning protocol<\/strong> foreseen by the administration for these cases in the Covid-19<\/strong><\/a> crisis.<\/p>\n

\"cleaning<\/p>\n

Bodywork cleaning<\/h3>\n

Outside our facilities, the bodywork is washed with pressurised water, soap and a telescopic brush<\/strong>. Completely emptying the grey water tank (which must already be emptied by the customer) and sanitising it with a specific product for this purpose. After the Covid-19 crisis, we disinfect<\/strong> with special attention the most common handling parts, such as door handles, tank caps, handles...<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cleaning of camper equipment<\/h3>\n

As you know all our camper vans<\/a><\/strong> and motorhomes<\/strong> are delivered with a complete equipment<\/a><\/strong>, from bed linen to all the utensils and crockery necessary for your camper experience to be satisfactory. The entire interior of the camper is emptied, the bed linen, towels, duvets and pillows<\/strong> are washed at more than 600<\/sup>C<\/strong> and, when possible, in a bleach <\/strong>cycle. The kitchenware, crockery and all kitchen equipment<\/strong> is first rinsed by immersion in a container with a solution of sodium hypochlorite<\/strong>. If this is not possible, other non-chlorine disinfectant products<\/strong>, such as peroxides or phenolics authorised in Spain<\/strong>, should be used. It is then scrubbed with hot water and dishwashing soap and put back in place once the vehicle has been cleaned and sanitised. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Sanitised<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cleaning the interior of the camper<\/h3>\n

Once the interior has been emptied, it is cleaned by first vacuuming the surfaces and then thoroughly cleaning and sanitising the entire interior of the vehicle with authorised disinfectants<\/strong>. Once again, special attention is paid to the points where manipulation may have been more intense, such as switches, handles, handles, handles, handles... If the camper or motorhome<\/strong> has a bathroom or portable toilet, it is also treated separately with specific disinfectant products. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Cleaning<\/h3>\n

Ozone disinfection<\/h3>\n

Once the Camper <\/strong>has completed the strict cleaning and disinfection process<\/strong>, it is refitted with all its specific equipment. It then goes through a session of ozone generator<\/strong> that would finish with the odours, bacteria and viruses<\/strong> that remain in the environment or in the innermost recesses of the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Our cleaning team<\/strong> is equipped at all times according to the protocol <\/strong>for cleaning and disinfection of tourist areas, with gloves, mask and specific clothing<\/strong> for the task. In our camper <\/strong>vans you will find in each rental a hydroalcoholic gel dispenser and a pack of disposable gloves and mask.<\/strong><\/p>\n
