The latest edition of our country's most important independent music festival, "Monkey Week," will be held this weekend in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Spain, on October 10, 11, and 12. "Monkey" isn't just another summer music festival; it's something more, a meeting point where everyone involved in independent music comes together after the summer season.

Hundreds of artists and professionals, as well as press, producers, and the public, mingle for a weekend in the streets and bars of El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Spain, creating a unique forum for debate in a very pleasant and relaxed setting.
The lineup, like every year, is an endless list of independent bands for all tastes. It's where the future of music in Spain and beyond will undoubtedly come from.
