We propose a weekend of mountains and tapas in Cádiz. On March 22nd and 23rd, the Despensa de Recuerdos will hold the first event of the Spring Gastronomic Festival in Algodonales, in the heart of the Cádiz mountains, Andalusia.
The program will offer visitors oil and cheese tastings, lectures dedicated to the contrast between northern European and southern Spanish cuisine, the revival of traditional tapas, and organic livestock farming.
The event also features the presentation of the Despensa de Recuerdos book, delicious tortilla-making competitions, tapas, and mountain breakfasts typical of the Sierra de Cádiz and southern Spain.
A good excuse to visit the Sierra de Grazalema this weekend.
